V-K Drainage – Terms & Conditions of Service
 

1. Definitions

“Company” refers to V-K Drainage.
“Customer” refers to the person or organisation requesting services.
“Services” refers to all drainage work including unblocking, jetting, CCTV surveys, repairs and related works.
 

2. Services Provided

V-K Drainage provides drainage services including, but not limited to:

• Drain unblocking

• High-pressure water jetting

• CCTV drain surveys

• Drain repairs (including no-dig solutions)

• Rat gate installation

All services are subject to site conditions and accessibility.
 

3. Quotations & Pricing

• All quotes are based on information available at the time.

• Additional work may be required if unforeseen issues are identified.

• The Customer will be informed before any extra work is carried out.

• Prices may vary depending on complexity, access, and time required.
   

4. Payment Terms

• Payment is due immediately upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• V-K Drainage reserves the right to request upfront payment for certain services.

• Late payments may incur additional charges or recovery action.
   

5. Emergency Call-Outs

• Emergency services are subject to availability.

• Response times are estimates and not guaranteed.

• Additional charges may apply for out-of-hours work.
   

6. Customer Responsibilities

The Customer agrees to:

• Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area

• Inform V-K Drainage of any known hazards or issues

• Ensure pets, children, and belongings are kept clear of the work area
   

7. Drain Clearance & Blockages

• While every effort is made to clear blockages, no guarantee can be given that all issues will be permanently resolved due to factors outside our control (e.g. structural defects, root ingress, collapsed drains).

• Repeat visits may be required in some cases.
   

8. CCTV Surveys

• CCTV surveys are visual inspections only.

• Reports are based on conditions visible at the time of inspection.

• Hidden defects or inaccessible areas may not be identified.
   

9. Repairs & Workmanship

• All repair work will be carried out to a professional standard.

• Any guarantees will be confirmed in writing where applicable.

• No warranty is given where underlying issues (e.g. ground movement or pre-existing damage) are beyond our control.
   

10. Liability

• V-K Drainage will not be liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage to drainage systems

  • Structural defects not visible at the time of service

  • Consequential loss, damage, or business interruption

• Liability is limited to the value of the services provided.
   

11. Property & Damage

• Reasonable care will be taken at all times.

• The Company is not responsible for damage caused by:

  • Fragile, aged, or defective pipework

  • Pre-existing conditions

  • Access limitations
     

12. Cancellations

• Cancellations must be made as early as possible.

• A cancellation fee may apply if an appointment is cancelled at short notice.
   

13. Access Issues

• If access is not available upon arrival, a call-out fee may still be charged.
   

14. Force Majeure

V-K Drainage is not liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, traffic delays, or equipment failure.
 

15. Complaints

Any complaints should be reported as soon as possible.
We aim to resolve all issues promptly and professionally.
 

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of United Kingdom.
